Late last year, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, successfully lobbied the United Nations to declare an ‘International Day of Yoga’ in recognition of the many benefits of yoga and to encourage individuals to explore the practice of yoga in its entirety. The resolution was passed with the overwhelming support of 175 countries and this June 21, 2015 marks the 1st Word wide Celebration!!!
